Help my find a gift for a fellow dog lover! Please

One of my good friends has a B-day coming up and I need to figure out a gift for her... Well actualy I already know what I want to get her... But I dont know much about them...She wants to be a dog groomer(she is turning 18) and has three dogs of her own. She always goes to a self grooming thing around here because she doesn't have clippers. So I thought it would be nice to get her a top of the line groomer set... Clippers, and whatever else she may need for cutting dogs hair. only problem is I dont know what "top of the line" is, or what I should exactly be looking for. Thanks much for the help if you can!

No, I do't think so. But I am not too educated on the grooming supplies.

I don't think the "brand name" matters, as long as it's nice. It's the thought that counts! I wish I had friends like you!

thank you very much! As you can see im not to knowledgable in this department either... buy the way love you avvy! pits are my fav! I hat how so many people think they are an evil breed. makes me sad... They are trying to bann them in my town right now...What a shame...

As for the clippers, I'll lkeep lookin. She knows alot about grooming... and I dont wanna give her cheap clippers that will break a few times after she uses them...which is why I wondered about the brand...there are so many diffrent ones! When I read the description I wonder "what is the diffrence betweenan a4 or a5? and whats this "cooling device?" LoL. Im in over my head. Just want her to be excited, and enjoy the gift...but this is... rediculos! (sorry for the bad spelling, never was my strong suit)

You're a cool dude Saheeta...if only more men could be as thoughtful as you. I don't know anything about grooming except that I pay one 60 bucks every three months to make Elsa look like a schnauzer. And as far as I'm concerned, she earns every penny. However, I just got off the phone with her, and her recommendations are Andis or Oster A-5 Clippers. I have no idea what that means or if these are "top of the line" but I hope in some way it helps. Good luck in your search!

Saheeta, does your friend plan to ever show or groom schnauzers for show? If she does, she will have to learn how to hand strip them as clipping ruins the coat for show.
