Funny Dog Stories

When we brought Sadie home she was 5 weeks old and weighed 5 pounds in my hand she was just a little peanut. The day we brought her home it was pouring rain and I mean pouring rain. Well we wanted to get her to go "potty" outside(that is our trigger word to go to the bathroom) and we had a cement patio that had a roof on it. So we took her over to the patio to go potty. Well she went and I cheered for her, started clapping and saying yea the whole nine yards. Well I startled her and she stopped going. Even to this day she will not go "potty" on cement. Not on a sidewalk, road, parking lot nothing. Which in a way I guess is kind of good. Poor little thing I was just trying to praise her for going potty outside.

Talking

My dogs are funny about pottying. Prince sits and stares at me and whines until I take him out. Sitka just goes when I tell her, too. She must have amazing bladder control because she has never had an accident. And Bear does this funny little dance thing when he has to go. It's like what little kids do when they have to go.
