left ear isn't fully erect?

rocky is 8months old now and his right ear is fully erect but the left is a but floppy on the top part. it points up but not completely. shouldn't it be erect like the right ear by now? perhaps it's going to stay that way?

Maybe it will straighten out or maybe it will stay that way. Only time will tell, but it could stay like that. I know that happens to some German Shepherds.
