| What is your dog(s) favorite toy? The favorites around here seem to be stuffed Kongs and tennis balls, but I'm hoping to hear other input about pooch favorites. I may go shopping this weekend for the dogs, and figure it's time for a few new toys. |

Ryder (Great Dane)- Loves stuffed toys, and he is very good with them, his favorite one right now is his frog. |

| It depends on Elsa's mood, but when she thinks I'm ignoring her she will usually drop her stuffed gorilla at my feet. Maybe that's her way of calling me an Ape because she would rather play tug and chase with one of her ropes. |

| Scout (shepherd mix) has a stuffed "weiner dog" that she goes nuts over. It has a squeaker at one end, plus another squeaker that sounds like a duck quack - which she loves.
She also likes her rope bone. I soak it in chicken broth, then let it dry in the oven at a really low setting. This gives it some flavour and ecourages her to chew on it.
We got her one of those big orange treat dispensing balls. I fill it with kibble and that usually occopies her for about 10 minutes a day - it's fun watching her try to problem solve! |

| hmm....he has a "knot" that i made him with some rope, a rolled towel, and I'm teaching him to get crazy over a piece of hose. But his all time favorite...his little pink stuffed pig, pretty funny to see a 120 lb dog playing with his little pig... |

| Unfortunately, I recently lost both my 15+ year old shelties but one of mine loved her stuffed monkey. It could not be any other stuffed animal - HAD to be a money. The other one - Tennis Balls! |

| Ours love those Yanker brand toys. They are about the only toy they do not destroy in a day or two. And they also love their jolly balls, and our female loves her golf cart tire. Weird, I know, but hey it works LOL |

| Re: What is your dog(s) favorite toy? My dog loves to chase things so he has a ball with holes in it that has a smaller ball inside- he loves that one. I got it at petsmart. He also loves chasing this other oversized egg shape ball.that gives him a good workout. I just kick it a few times and he's off and running. |

| Re: What is your dog(s) favorite toy? Of course the Kong is my Alakan Huskys fav!! But I have to confess her next fav is actually an elk antler. She finds the sheds in the spring, and chews on them until I get tired of tripping on them and throw some out. |

| Re: What is your dog(s) favorite toy? Well the Kong is her favorite if it's filled with goodies, but that's pretty much a given.
Her favorite non-food toy is this giant teddy I got on clearance. It's supposed to be for babies, and I felt bad giving it to Kim because it *was* really cute. She doesn't get it very often though because she gets so violent with it, lol...I keep it to short play sessions to prolong its life.
She also loves her giant (Souper?) durable Nylabone when the other two aren't available. She loves all her toys though...she's a toy nut. |

| Re: What is your dog(s) favorite toy? Dakota's favorite varies depending on what's newest and what still squeaks the loudest. She likes pretty much anything, balls, ropes, plush, etc. Though strangely enough, isn't a big fan of Kongs. She'd probably play with them if they were stuffed all the time but then I'd have one rolly polly little pup .
It's always hilarious to watch her root around in the big toy basket for just the right toy.

| Re: What is your dog(s) favorite toy? Lula likes plush squeeky toys the best. For some reason she REALLY likes the realistic looking ones. Right now she has a duck that she carries around everywhere. It's AKC brand name and looks/ sounds like a real duck. The AKC brand stuffies seem to last her the longest and are pretty durable.
For some reason or another she hates red colored toys except for her kong which she only licks the treats out of and then is no longer interested in it. Lula has alot of other treat type toys that she likes. Some of them take her hours to get all the treats out of and some she gets the treats out of right away. One is a Petstages calming treat ball. I don't know of the brand names of the others she has. One is in the shape of a football and another is purple and screws apart so you can put treats in it and the last one is an orange ball with indentions all other it.
The plush stuffies are her all time favorite though. She's like a little kid carring her stuffed animals around. |
