terrible smell from rolling in something

ok, this is the second time in a week my mini pin has rolled and licked something in our grass and the smell is sooooo.... horrid! Bathed twice with orange dog shampoo, teeth scrubed and it still smells. It is worse than a skunk spray. I normally don't have a weak stomach but this gags me bad! My husband notice this to start about the time a mole started digging in our yard. Does anyone know of anything to wash this with?
Any one on the mole theory? I know we have cats around but know signs of litter box in our yard. I'm ready to get on the mole ridding band wagon tho!

Maybe you should try one of the special shampoos made for skunk spray. Natalie rolled in something one time and even after 2 bathes I could still smell it on her...I thought it smelled worse than skunk spray too but I have no idea what it was.

The acid in the vinegar and tomato juice will neutralize the chemical in skunk spray that stinks also vinegar is great for hair and will make your dogs coat softer and have more shine than any store bought shampoo ever will.

I bet your dog was rolling in a dead animal..That, or an old raw chicken wrapper.

did u see anything on your dog that smelt? cause i remember my dog coming in from outside and something reeked on it and i looked on top of her ear and there was a few little orangish dots and it was grosss. but my mom said that it was just something from a big pile of weeds from out back, but we just put this juice stuff on it and it came right off and the smell was gone.

1. Dogs roll in fecal matter

2. Dogs roll in carcuses. (sp?)

My dog ALWAYS eats cat poop from the neighborhood cats. All the cats in the nwighborhood come into my yard, and poop. And then all the dogs here eat it. It's sickening. I brush her teeth when she does that, or spray the shower nozzel into her mouth to flush it out.

It's very natural for dogs to both eat poop, and roll in it, and to roll in dead things.
