Does your dog like cats?

My dog tolerates cats. He's not exactly fond of them. I've had dogs in the past that have been great friends with my cats, but we had an issue with one dog. We had adopted a dog after his foster parent brought him for a home visit. He seemed great. He seemed okay with everyone at first. But after a week he began terrorizing the cats. We thought the situation would settle down, but it just got worse, to the point where the cats stopped using the litter box and wouldn't come out from under our bed to even eat. It was terrible. We returned the dog to his foster parent. I was upset because she had assured us that he "loved" cats. I would have never taken him in if I would have had any idea. I felt so bad about the whole thing.

Natalie is great with my cats but I got her as a puppy and I already had 3 cats at the time so she was raised with them. The cats seem to love her too.

Sebastian was never around cats until he lived with me. He doesn't really like them but he tolerates them.

Here is an old picture of Natalie & Tiddy:

Mine are fine with cats... although Shippo likes to get in the cat's face and annoy her... >9.9<

Our basset loved them. He would curl up with the male we had constantly.
