Please help us figure out what kind of dog this is. She weights 50 pounds and has HUGE paws. The vet said she will be HUGE. He could not figure out what kind she was.
A friend thinks she is a great dane/collie mix. My husband rescued her from the streets.

I dont see any Great Dane in that dog, but she sure is cute. I can see the Collie and maybe some Boxer? How old is she? Is hard to tell, but looks like she has her adult teeth??

My Great Dane was 50lbs at 13 weeks if that gives you a reference.

Same question do they have an idea how old? I also know you can't go by the paws, I had one that the paws looked average to me and the vet and he was 130lbs when grown. There are a lot of short legged dog that have big paws that are not huge dogs. It is a very cute dog!

I too thought Collie/Boxer. Very cute dog either way.

I actually don't see any collie at all, but ACD x pit x shepherd would fit.

A friend has a dog who looks JUST like that and we call him a dog-shaped dog- he's absolutely adorable. Ended up about 60 pounds and his paws are huge, but he's not a giant dog, just heavy-boned.

lab X shepherd X something something is my guess...probably a mix of several breeds/mixes. I don't see any ridgeback in it.
