| Eye Goop "Boogers" Over the last couple days our 13-wk old pup has had a bunch of goop in the corners of her eyes when she wakes up in the morning (much like we humans do). It will also form throughout the day and needs to be wiped awa every few hours.
It's white, somewhat stringy, just like human "eye boogers" would be. It doesn't smell or appear to be pus - her eyes appear to be normal (not red or inflamed). She also doesn't seem to paw at her eyes or scratch them.
Is this probably just allergies? I left a message for our vet yesterday and he said that if her eyes were red it indicated infection and to get her in ASAP, however I'm not seeing any redness. As I said, they REALLY appear after waking first thing in the morning, but will also form throughout the day.
