How Much Biting Is OK?

Hi guys!
Thanks so much for all your help in our search for a pup - we found the perfect addition to our family, and things are going so well! We got ourselves a little toy poodle (Bella), and I just need some advice about biting/nibbling. I know that I have read somewhere that it is healthy for dogs to mouth, and that they need to learn to do it gently, but I just don't know howmuch is too much, and when/if we should stop her. Thanks so much, and we look forward to your response.

It is normal for a pup to mouth and bit but NOT ON YOU. When she tries tell her no and give her a toy or bone insted. I do not tolerate any animal puting its mouth on me at all. I do not even like them licking me.

yup i agree... saying no and replacing with a toy works wonders... my little pup has made some major progress in that department. altho she still likes to nip at the children when they go running by, but still working on that, but she is doing better about that as well....
