| Re: My beagle takes food out of peoples hands 1. Most beagles tend to act as if they're starving all the time. At one year of age she should be on one or two meals a day. You have to be careful with Beagles and weight gain.
2. For the bathroom trash you could set it up with trash and some snappy traps (available at pet supply stores) so that when she gets into it the trach can "corrects" her and she decides that it's not worth getting nipped in the nose.
3. You can bait counters and tables with snappy traps and/or items such as aluminum pie tins that will fall around her making a lot of scary noise if she tries to get food off the table or counter. And, of course, always put things away.
4. For begging and trying to steal out of hands, other than having your kids eat at the table or counter, work on long downs. |
