Okay... thanks tell me about yours. Is she yappie. Does she nip? Does she have a strong personality? Getting to know mine. She seems to be strong willed.
abbey is precious! when hubby comes home from work she acts like she hasnt seen him for months...so excited! she nips our heels when we walk down hallway. she hardly barks! we crated her until 6 months..bought stairs and now she sleeps with us! she knows her name and loves to play! loves to cuddle and loves tummy rubs. Our vet said to always have her on a leash as the terrior in her makes her RUN
she's busy......she loves to go in pool with us and on our boat. we have a car seat for her and drive 8hr to Pa every month and she's wonderful!
only problem with her is potty training..she doesnt let us know when she needs to go out..so during the day I take her out every hour but once it gets dark..we have wee-pads. I know her sched pretty well..her last meal is at 6p she goes out and does her thing..and then not again till am. hubby takes her out at 6am and she comes back to bed and will slep till 930am! havent been able to train her not to jump on friends!
That is really good to know. Ours is getting the wewe pad thing good so far. Are biggest problem is she is biting. My kids play with her and she bites. Hard to tell if it is aggressive behavior or she is playing.
Sometimes when they try to pick her up when she does not want to be picked up she will snap. Not sure what to do about this problem. It is somewhat concerning.
we have 8 yr grandkids and when they try and rush her..they try to bit also
if they try to pick her up she snaps
so my rule is
you must be 16 yr to pick up the dog!
I have a Yorkshire/Poodle mutt. She's 4.7 pounds and five years old. Her previous owner neglected her something terrible. Scavenging for food, using closets for potty and all sorts of crap. Now she's a happy little yappy turd.
