Questions about how to make pup comfortable while we vacation

We are going out of town next week for 5 days and my 5m old Eskie/collie mix will be staying with my in-laws. She knows them very well and is very comfortable at their home-we take her there at least 2x/wk. We are planning to take her crate over to their home, her food bowls, a few toys and her Xpen. I am wondering if anyone can think of anything else to make the stay easier on her (and my In-laws)!! I made up a schedule for them about her typical day. Also, I am wondering if this will cause her to regress in housetraining-we are down to about 1 accident/day (pee) and no BM accidents for several weeks. SHe is familar with their yard and goes just fine there. THey live quite close to our house so I think they will walk her in the same area that I do each day. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

well your plan sounds good so far, make sure you bring her blankets/pillows for her crate too is the only thing id add. and i would bring some stuff over there for accident clean ups , of course id hope she doesnt have accidents but if she does in their house itd be nice to have some good cleaning supplies available to them right away. and of course leave the info for the vet and if its time to take heart worm /flea preventatives then bring those with instructions.

I want to add that we have had her since May and have always had her around my In laws. They have watched her during the day a few times when my children had activities that required us being out all day and they also come over to walk her let her go potty if she had to be crated more than 3 hours during the day.

maybe if this is the longest you will have been away from her, you should leave something in her crate with your scent on it (like a blanket or something), that way she might not be so nervous without you.
