New Beagle Help

Here's the story.....
We got Hunter (7mo Beagle) this past Monday. He had an accident when he first got in the house (pee and poop), which can be expected. He didn't have anymore accidents in the house until Thursday. He peed twice in the house Thursday and once Friday. I woke up this morning to find that he peed outside his crate. I then took him out for a walk and it was pouring rain. I figured he didnt have to go so we came back in. He ran upstairs and pooped in my daughters room. He gets walked 5-6 times a day and goes pee at least 5 times a day. What should I do, am i doing something wrong?

Thanks
Adam

Put bells on a string and attach them to the door. Train your dog to ring the bell when he has to go. I did this with my springer and it worked great. I hope this helps. Also walk him; when he wakes up, 20-30 min after he eats, after hard play, and before putting him in his crate. P.S. use something to kill the smell so that he does not go back to the same places. Shut doors to bedrooms and use an indoor leash.

Re: New Beagle Help

I have the bells, they have been up there for a couple of days. We are working with him on that. I guess I am having trouble getting him to go outside. How do i get him to go when I tell him?
