1) Nope unaltered dogs are allowed, or else we wouldnt be going as blaze is intact, females in heat are not allowed though. But I have seen many come in, in heat. Which is just asking for trouble IMO. But my dog park is MASSIVE 100's of acres, so its easy to get away from them and other idiots.
2) I would say a big dog is 60lbs or so. But then again they can be a medium sized dog at 60 lbs as blaze I wouldnt call large, he is short, but 60lbs (no way is he over weight, just built like a army tank lol) So I would go by height more so.

Yes some are way to over protective. Blaze isnt a playful dog at the park. he enjoys spending his time swimming and chasing rocks i through, by no means does that mean he wont play. When he plays, he PLAYS rough, barking like a mad man ect. I have seen so many people call hi a vicous dog because of all the barking and nipping he does, and then they drag their dogs away. You should see how him and the irish wolfhound that he is best buddies with play. They sound like a bunch of wild horses running around, tons of barking and biting, every one thinks they are actually fighting, His owner is very tolerent and a wonderful lady and understands that dogs play hard. He is a herder breed, offcourse he will bark and nip. If the other dog doesnt mind, then who cares. If the other dog does mind, I call him away imeadietly.
