New Shih Tzo like puppy from local pound

Are Shih Tzo ever black and white? Any advice? So far so good.

As I understand it, the Shih Tzu standard accepts pretty much everything when it comes to coat colors and markings...including black and white. I'm sure Durb will show up with some pictures of the Snoopster eventually.

Congrats on your new pup.

Shih Tzus come in every color under the rainbow. Liver, silvers, white, black & white, black, the list could go one.

My Teddie (also a rescue) is a black and white shih tzu.

I commend you on adopting your new addition! Welcome to DF and I can't wait to learn more about your pup.
