Pet Adoption-Fate, Destiny or Crazy?!

I can't believe I did phase I tonight--I was sitting here on the computer and I went to a poodle rescue agency in my area(online)---I put in info for a search and a 1 1/2 female standard poodle came up for a rescue--from what I interpret she was a rescue from a byb who kept her crated much of her life. It says she gets along with people and other dogs--anyway, I responded to the adoption agency as an interested parent---I didn't tell my husband yet because they may not even respond to me and I don't want to get everyone excited--I am thinking a dog crated a lot may not be properly housebroken or socialized unless she was crated with other dogs--she is now spayed as well---was I crazy to do this? I wonder if I will hear back--I will keep you guys up to date as if this thing gets going I am sure I will have questions for all of you experienced dog lovers. Tell me I'm not crazy and it won't ruin Riley's great personality or will it??
PS: In my response to the agency I told them I had four rescue indoor cats so she would have to get along with not only other dogs but cats as well----

My edit is that I already got an email back that Sabrina has been adopted, oh well what is meant to be is meant to be....

Thats to bad, but it may have been very difficult to house train this dog as it was most likley forced to go potty in the crate for its whole life so you wouldn't be able to crate it or confine it because it wouldn't care if it got dirty. I'm not saying it couldn't have been done but it would have been super hard.
