Today, Zoe, one of my families golden retrievers passed away. The last 2.5 years since I have been away at college I have not been able to spend as much time with Zoe or her sister Mattie that I would have liked, but despite that every time I came home they were both there to great me at my car door, even in their old age. I am just very thankful that I was able to see her one more time before she passed. Rest in peace Zoe, I will always love you and I will never forget you.
