tonight at around 8:30 pm my puupy Penny who was 6 1/2 months old was killed by a speeding car. The driver never stopped which is typical. I hope whoever took her from me suffers what they did. I blame myself for what happened. I knew her collar was a bit big on her but while she was roughhousing with my other dog Benji she slipped out of her collar. I tried to get her back. If only I had gotten some treats maybe she would still be alive right now. I'm feeling sick right now because it happened in front of me. I couldn't get a license plate or anything. She had just gotten spayed and microchipped and now she is gone. Now the only thing left is to try and move on after tonight. She is buried in the garden next to our home. I know she is in a better place right now. for anyone who has lost a dog they way I did tonight, it really hurts. But they are in a better place right now romping and playing with the others. I am sorry for your loss . We lost our little yorkie last week to a coyote and I am still sick over it. Moving on is hard but with each day that passes I feel a little bit less sad.

Thank you for your response to my post. I'm sorry for your loss as well. Even though it happened to me a few days ago, I'm doing much better.
I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a fur baby, no matter how long they were with us, is always devistating. I lost my Jasmine 9-04-09 and she had been with us 13 yrs. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
