Had to put my dog down yesterday

Yesterday i had to put my Bizzy down because he had became very sick throwing up and had diarrhea and couldnt walk and lost alot of weight.I already knew something was wrong because when we would let him run around in the yard he would over do it and start walking very slowly. We had him for 11 yrs..so making the decision was the hardest thing i had to do but it hurt my heart to see him stumbling around and he would look at me with those sad puppy dog eyes. But im having trouble dealing with it.I keep asking myself did i do the right thing?Just thought i'd share it because i had to let someone know how i was feeling

I am so sorry to hear of Bizzy's passing. You will always carry him in your heart... and he will be watching out for you at the Rainbow Bridge, I am certain.

Re: Had to put my dog down yesterday

Im so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. Had to put my schnauzer down in January after 12 years. It was so hard, but the best thing for him. 3 weeks later I couldnt stand the silence in the house, so my family and I adopted a 2 month old mutt. A new puppy is the best medicine for a broken heart. Last month we adopted a second dog! Never thought we would be a 2 dog family, but its awesome.

Hi Northern Inuit Love -
Oh no! That is terrible news!
I do know how your heart is breaking, it feels like a million brittle little pieces that all ache to the ends of the earth and that drip with tears.

sending you hugs from SunnyPaw

I'm so sorry! I recently had to put my cat Olivia down, we found her alongside a road and she already had cat aids (or leukimea, we don't know which) and she was suffering. I'm sorry for your loss, again.
Rest in peace Bizzy.
I made this for you
