Oh - i just saw this thread. I am so sad for you I absolutely adored Trey from your pictures. He was one of the DF dogs I would have wanted to meet. I would love to have a Sheltie one day - my in-laws had them, and every Sheltie I have ever met have just been the sweetest little dogs. Please dont' stop posting pictures of this guy - I will miss him too.

Thanks so much guys. It's really been tough without him, but I do get a lot of comfort from how full his life was. He was and will always be my most beautiful boy. One day I'll have another sheltie, but I'm not ready yet, I know.

Oh Laurelin, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to handle this kind of thing. I just loved reading your stories of Trey, though. He sounds like he was such a lovely, gentle creature. And you were so blessed to have had such a gorgeous dog in your life...as blessed as he was to have a loving momma! Just remember, he's running around free and playing like a puppy up there at the bridge! Maybe he's playing with my little man, Noodles. =]
