Well Lassie, it has been 7 years since you left us. I know it was on July 10th (2002). Im sorry I didnt write sooner. but with grandpa being so ill in the hospital, it slipped my mind to make your memorial. I did remember on the 10th that it was the day you left, as it is a day after grandpas birthday.

Hope you are doing well at the bridge. With Cj, Sweeite, midnight, buddy, eddie....ect to many to name. I know Sid came to join you not to long ago. You never met him here, but Im sure Sweetie introduced you two too each other. up there.

we are all doing good down here, still miss you lots, but one day we will see you again.

Love you girl, Take care of every one else up there, give them all a hug and a hi for me.

Tankstar, so wonderful that you would memorialize your Lassie after so many years have passed..this IS proof that we never forget our loved ones and that we still miss them after the initial painful mourning is over..they live on in our hearts. Thanks.. I needed this.

I lost my Borzoi seven years ago this month, and I still miss him. I understand.

Thanks every one I could never forget her. Got her for my 4th birthday and she was with me until my (almost, missed it by a month) 17th birthday.She was a grand old girl. and a wonderful dog to grow up with. I would never forget her, heck I still think of gerorge and fred our long tail grass lizards we had yearsand years ago lol. I never forget any pets. I may forget their birthdays, days we got them, or days of death. but I atleast remember the dogs. She is in good company up there, her 2 life long dog friends CJ and Sweetie are with her. Our past dogs, which will have their 5 and 3 year memorial soon in October.

Memories last forever. pain goes away. But she always has a place in my heart.
