I just dont know what to say. I get weird looks because I cant think about or read this thread without crying. Even though I did not personally know Carter, I shared in his SA experiences. My dogs are not as bad as him, but they do share some of the same qualities as he did. I feel terrible for all you have had to go through, especially since when you were home with him, times were so happy. You DID do all you could. Dont ever forget that. Thank you all for all of your kind words. It hasn't been easy for my fiance and I. We've doubted ourselves a lot since we did it. We know in our hearts it was the best choice. It was just so hard to do when you see this friendly loving puppy jumping all over the Vet techs and you wonder to yourself "Is this right?" It was and is.

We miss him so much...
