| I killed my own dog Hi guys, some of you may know me from posting on here. Today has been a devestating day. I managed to kill my own dog in my own driveway I am distraught.
Max was only 5 months old and ever since we got him would always bark at the wheels of my car whilst I would be leaving the drive. Today however we think his collar got caught in the wheel and I dont think I need to explain what happened next.
I am devestated, dont know how I am going to get thru the next few days. The kids are in a mess. I had just got him to a lovely stage in his life, 100% toilet trained etc. My house seems so strange without him. I miss him so so much. |

| Re: I killed my own dog I am sorry for the loss of Max, I do hope you have learned a lesson about not having a dog that chases wheels and barks at wheels loose when you are backing out, especially as he has done this before. It was an accident waiting to happen......
As far as telling the kids.... perhaps being truthful is the answer.... that way everyone learns from this situation and can prevent it from happening in the future.
godspeed Max. |

Unfortunately, in the same breathe I am going to have to agree with Shalva on this one though... |

I miss him so so much. | Please my advice to you is as hard as it is get another dog I lost my baby yorkie to a liver shunt issue and couldnt afford to fix it it would cost me 15k I and I have 3 kids so I had to put him down at age 3 it took my heart out and I went out 2 days later and bought a chihuahua it was the best thing I ever did and a few years later I bought another yorkie to go with him. I cant tell you the joy they bring I comb the hair I dress them and they are my life. SO far they are VERY healthy. But if I lost one Id go out the same day and get another one. SO do it for you and for the kids it heals the pain and even tho you wont forget it helps the pain. And there are so many dogs that need you. I have incurable cancer now and will soon see my dog in heaven. I hope by then I live long enough to buy another few dogs but my hubby wont let me. No room. I want some more teacups I have 2 toy dogs now. So go and do it you wont regret it. |
