I just saw this thread...don't come to memorials to often as they make me so sad and make me think about the mortality of my own soul puppy.

I am so sad to hear about Digits, (tearing up as I write this) but I am so happy that you finally know what happened and that he is at last home where he belongs. Most people would have given up the search long ago, but you never did, even when people were telling you it was hopeless. Now, thanks to you (and your friend's perseverance) Digits is home with his Mama where he belongs.

My goddaughter sent me a photo last night of Digit. It was taken the day before he left me. She had come over here to play with the dogs on the Friday when I was out of town.


It was so nice to see that face again.

im new aswell here and almost couldnt keep reading both posts.. Im so sorry to hear about that but like everyone else said, atleast he wasnt out in the cold and starving. i was reading it outloud to my girlfriend as i was reading it and had to stop a few times to clear my throat, my eyes starting watering and i almost couldnt keep reading it. Were all here for you but you should know that you gave Digits the best life he coulda ever had, the most love anyone could give. You were great to him and not forgotten. Thats what really matters. He will always remember you, and you will always remember him, to have something in your life like that it priceless.

Digit's Mom, I am so sorry for your loss. It must be a relief to finally know what happened to your precious boy and to know someone loving was taking care of him. I'm glad you have closure and he is home with you.

I don't know what to say. It just seems that words cannot express the feeling in my heart for what you have gone and are going through. I am so sorry for your loss but happy that you were able to have closure. Digit was a beautiful boy. God Bless.

Hey DM I'm still newer to this thread and I had no idea of this situation! I am so very sorry for this. I can only imagine how you feel all those months not knowing! Although the outcome is one nobody ever wants to hear atleast you know that he was taken care of by this lady who seems to have a big heart as well..It was very nice of her to tell you that he missed you =0( tears are running down my cheecks...I am so glad you get to bring your boy home where he belongs..*HUGS*
