| Re: I found my Digit You lost him when I first started on this forum, and I remember looking at all the local lost pet signs for you. I happy you know where he is now, and you are bringing him home, but it made me cry that it wasn't the right ended, but in a way it was. At least he was loved in his final days, and someone was kind enough to do so.
You will meet him again, and hold each other once more, and you know he is safe now. Make sure you give Dozer a big hug! Kiss the little ones every chance you get. |

| Re: I found my Digit I'm crying for you. So sad that it ended this way, but at least you know he didn't go in the cold somewhere, or alone. It probably doesn't help, but at least you know. |

| Re: I found my Digit I have no idea why I didn't see this before right now but V- I am truly sorry and wish you the peace of closure and know Puddles, Iris and Dozer will be a comfort to you. I'm sure if we were all there with you we'd have a big cry and toast Digit and his Mom who never gave up looking for him. I'm so glad you were able to bring him home where he belongs. |

| Re: I found my Digit Digitsmom, I am so sorry that it ended the way that it did. There simply are no words. I am happy that you were given closure though not in the way we had all hoped. I too am grateful that he was taken in by a kind person instead of ignored. I cried reading this news and my face was all hot when I saw the title of this thread. My heart broke as I read the situation. My thoughts and prayers go out to you in hopes that your heart can now find peace and rest. |

| Re: I found my Digit I'm so very glad you got to bring Digit home finally... nobody left behind.
It's awful you had to have closure in this way, and I know it how bad it can hurt to have false hope for so long. Just know that Digit was thinking of you and you of him before his passing and that you'll be reunited someday. |

| Re: I found my Digit I don't know what to say... when I saw this thread my heart leapt and then I noticed it was in the Memorial forum and then I knew what had happened. However after reading the thread I actually feel glad for both you and Digit. Remember that he could have ended up in a much worse situation. What happened to him was really the second best thing that could have happened besides him returning to you - he passed on in a comfortable and loving home, well taken care of to his last breath, and now he really is back with you.
Godspeed Digit, you are a good boy. |

That is wonderful that you were able to bring him back to where he should be.
It is a relief knowing he did not die alone somewhere in the cold even though he was not with you this woman must have comforted him because she was caring enough to take him in she must have great compassion for our little furkids. |
