Re: Bad day today.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I know how it feels - thinking about Sasha brings me to tears too every time I think about her. People say time heals...but it takes so damn long - too long.

RIP Patch - She was a beautiful dog.

Anela is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Bad day today.

I've been trying for almost two years to get rid of some medical records and spread ashes, I just can't do it. Sometimes I just collapse with total grief holding and caressing ashes.

My dog wove herself into the fabric of my body and soul, I'm beginning to think the severe gaping hole that was left when my beloved Tara passed is permanent, even though I have brought another into the house and two were already here.

She left me in my loving arms, I felt her go, I am lost now.

Re: Bad day today.

I am sorry for your loss. I understand completely. I lost my special dog 2 weeks ago. Crying is something I do often. It is important not to compare dogs. I know that I will never have another Inga. It is the saddest thought in the world. I am going to have a Greta, a Carsten, an Oliver maybe a Max, Fritz. What ever and I am sure that if I allow them to be they will all be wonderful dogs and they too will find there way into my heart. I know that if I hold them at Bay which is what I feel like doing now because my heart is so lost from the passing of My Beautiful Inga that they might never be able to be the Fantastic dogs that they all are capable of being. I think the only thing we can do is look at the individual dogs strengths not compare it to our much beloved dogs that past and see weaknesses. Our much beloved dogs were who they were because we allowed them in. I do believe time will help but right now it is a deep sad emptiness. Equest94 is right, it takes too long.
