Re: Good Bye My Inga

So sorry to hear about Inga.

Please take some small bit of comfort in knowing that Inga will never really leave you. She will remain by your side as she was for so long. You may not see her, but she's there for you, always.

You are in my thoughts.

Re: Good Bye My Inga

Im sorry about your loss. My cousin's kid used to tell me whenever a dog of ours die that I shouldn't cry. Because the dogs are now in heaven. <<<hugs>>> to you! A life well lived INGA!

Re: Good Bye My Inga

I'm so so sorry. I can tell what a wonderful dog she was from how passionately you write about her. Its such an inspiring story that a dog that was hurt so badly by a human ended up helping so many. I'd like to think that when our time here ends, we'll be reunited with the wonderful animals that change our lives.

God bless.

Exactly!! The fact that Inga had such a rough start in life and ended up being the wonderful companion she was says a lot for Inga and Inga's owner...

Inga-You helped her become the dog you knew she could be when you found her. You saved her life, I'm sure and gave her a beautiful, long life instead.

I'm so sorry about Inga. She sounded like such a great dog. It sounds like she loved you very much, and I'm sure you took very good care of her ( by the sounds of it ) I had a rot too. His name was Elmo...lol he died on March 9th 2007. It was really hard too. I'm so sorry!!

*Hugs*

Re: Good Bye My Inga

This brought tears to my eyes. I can only imagine what you are going through. Hang in there. She was a beautiful girl. She did her bit and more - for you, the breed and every other person she had the chance to reach out to.

Inga, may angels lead you in.

Re: Good Bye My Inga

It is amazing what can happen when a dog finds the right person and a person finds the right dog. You two did. She knows how you love her, even now.

Do you have any pictures of Inga? I don't remember seeing any of her besides the one in your signature.

Inga was a gentle loving dog with a sense of humor that rivaled any great comedian. I miss her so much. She was truly one of the greats. She touched literally thousands of lives in a positive way.

Re: Good Bye My Inga

When ever a loved one passes, I always think of this poem. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

RIP sweet Inga!!!

Indian Prayer

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die
