For My Dearest Cocoa R.I.P

Cocoa was a Liver shih-tzu. He has the cutest little brown nose, and his fur was a medium chocolate brown, with a white chest.

I was so close to him,he was my first dog. My mom got him for me when she got pregnant with my youngest brother...so that I would not feel left out.

He would follow me everywhere I went, wait for me when I came home from school. He was truly my closest friend and most loving dog I will ever have. I loved him to pieces.

One night he got loose and he never came back. Neighbors called two days later to tell us he was laying up against a tree..dead. That was probably the most heart wrenching thing I have ever gone through, and the most heart breaking thing thats ever happened to me thus far.

I loved him to pieces,he was my companion,he was my best friend. And he deserves this little memorial..cause he honestly was a special dog. I will always love him....and never forget him.

R.I.P CoCoa (1998-2001)

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. He sounds liek he was a wonderful little put and pretty special in deed.

I kind of went through a similar time as you the end of last year. My Schnauzer passed away and I'd had him for eleven years. He was my first really dog and we went through everything together. A flood a divorce five house moves.

Maybe your CoCoa will find my DeVante up at the Rainbow Bridge and become best buds!

Take care, Merrit

Re: For My Dearest Cocoa R.I.P

Thanks

I was 12 years old when I got him..and he died when I was 16.
Wish I would have had him longer, but at a young age he also had artheritis(sp?) problems in his leg which probably would have gotten worse as he got older.

Im sorry about your Schnauzer .. Its soo hard to lose your dog..ecspecially when you form such a strong bond.

sorry to hear about your loss. I know how you fell. Im scared I may loose star becuase hes getting up there and he keeps bleeding from itching. The felling is scary and sad.

I've had to deal with loss of dog at age 5. I know what your going through. The pain seems like it will never end, but it will. It will get hard after a few months when reality sets in but it will get better.
