Private message from banned member

I don't know if this is something I should report or if it's a mistake or what, but this afternoon when I got on the forum I had a private message from a member I didn't recognize the name and I clicked on their name it said 'banned' under their name. Message included 2 links trying to sell something. Is this something I need to report or do something about?

He was banned BECAUSE of those spam PMs as well as spam posted on the forums. (One of those posts said, "This is not spam." It was. ) The moderators were spammed as well in PMs. (Nobody said he was a SMART spammer.)

I don't know why people think they can come on here, ignore the rules and advertise their crap for free.

I'd just like to add that I think you have the best signature on this forum, LOL!!!!

Lily is gorgeous!!! It's just hilarious to me to see this huge "DOG FORUMS" signature with a picture of Lily as the avatar.

You know I am on a cat forum but I havent been on in a long time, its just not as good as this forum!

They talk about how they feed their cats friskies and cat chow and other brands I have never even heard of. Probably because most people on there are in Britain and know each other personally!
