Hi .

I dont want to cause a big huge stir , but i think we really need to do something . II love this forums , i thinks its awesome and I really like the off topic part of it too.. But some of the things some people are saying , not to other people but just about anything , are really hurtful , I would say "frowned apon" , and just plain mean!

I dont think that they (dogforums people) "ban' talks about religions , or anything else that could seriously hurt people . But i think , I mean i dont know what to do . I just wanted to take this to you attention :/

Well i dont think we should ban religion on the forum. Christians want to get the word out and we will do it in every way, shape, and form that we can. I am sorry if I or anyone else hurt you but we just want to state our oppinions and sometimes I and mabey some others get mad about what othere people say. Such as calling the Bible just a "book".

Christians don't need to use a dog forum to get the word out. They do a fine enough job getting "the word out" when I flip through my tv on Sunday mornings.

The problem with these discussions is that views are limited, and a dog forum isn't the place to delve into views. Someone always leaves upset. So my advice is, if you don't want your thread closed, stay away from religion, sexual preferences, and racism. I'm sure there's more we could add to this short list, but there's your start.

im not saying to ban religion . Im saying that something has to be done . I think that saying what is right and wrong in an opinion matter isnt acceptable.

How much money do I need to pay to become a Mod so I can delete idiotic replies that have nothing to do with the topic and do nothing but kill my brain cells because I read them.

There is a post with the forum rules. I read them myself just the other day to remind myself what is acceptable here and what is not.

Members are asked to stay on topic. I believe that the moderators have the option, if a member is disruptive, of removing the disruptive post and the disruptive poster instead of closing the thread.

That would seem to make sense.

I guess it would a little presumptuous of me to nominate some names here, huh?

My biggest issue on here is how "under modded" it can be sometimes ( nothing against the mods by all means) this forum is BY FAR one of the most "anything goes" forums I have seen in a while.
I like this site alot but the threadjacking gets out of control and the same topics seem to just pop up randomly in the middle of other peoples threads?!?!?

*thinks hard to herself ... "perhaps you are guilty of what you are complaining about " * lol
