Do you think!

My dog got hit and I posted about it and when I loged off people talked about me. And I told them what happen to my preveious dogs. and they told me I shouldn't have dogs at all and they made me feel really bad about my self, That i might give my dogs up for life. What do you think. And I did take her to the vet and know she is walking so much better.

I don't think anyone was trying to be mean or make you feel bad about yourself...but they were/are worried about the dog and the ones that got hurt/killed before this one. You said you fixed your fence and that's great, but everyone in here (or at least most people) are major dog lovers and are very passionate about the good treatment of dogs. I really don't think people intended to HURT your feelings, but people get upset when things like this happen. I don't know the WHOLE situation with your rottie or your previous dogs...but when you admitted that 4 of your previous dogs had been killed the same way it set off a major alarm to many people on here, myself included. We realize you may be young (I actually have no idea) but dogs are a MAJOR responsibility and I am SURE that you love your dogs...but if they are injured or sick they cannot take themselves to get help, you have to do that. I haven't posted in the conversation for a while, but I am sorry that you feel this way and I hope you can understand that people are mostly just concerned for your dog(s).

I think it was just a shock to us all that you came online and began posting about it before taking your dog to a vet to get checked out. I know I personally would've been straight to the vet, regardless of how badly the damage was just to be safe. You just gave the impression that it was no big deal, (whether that is true or not), and shows a lack of care on your part.
I don't recall reading that this has happened to you before on a few occasions, but I think if you truly do have your dogs' best intrerest at heart, you'll find a solution where you're dog/s don't have the risk of being hit by a car in the future. And please, don't wait around if your dog is injured, get to the vet right away.
