Reputation points?

I was just wondering if the reputation points thingy worked. I've given out a few and haven't seen anyone's meter thingy change.

Also, if it is up and running, if there was a sticky on how and when to use the white, odd tree like looking button under everyone's name

I've never "disapproved" of anyone's posts so I have no idea what would happen.... I usually just click on approve with a little comment when someone posts something interesting or informative... but I haven't seen anyonen's meter change!

Your status changes to "Disagreeable Member."

Oh, oh, I see how it works.

If you click on somebody else's little balance icon, you can 'approve' or 'disapprove' of a particular post and add comments if you wish.

If you click on your own (which is a pretty narcissistic thing to do) a window will pop up and say something like, "This post has not received any reputation. You currently have -68 reputation points."

I think Alpha was expecting the little scale to tip one way or the other.

If it works the same way that the reputation does on another forum I'm on...you should get more green 'pips' as you get more reputation points.

Of course, it could work differently to the other forum. LOL

As far as I'm aware, its working. Maybe you have to have a certain # of points to see the bar change?
