| site comment and a question First I have a comment - for me the forum is loading really really slow. I have DSL and don't have this problem with other sites. Just wanted to pass that on in case admin is not aware of it.
Next - How do I become a site sponsor? I would like to be added to the sponsor forum and have a banner at the side.
Thank you

| Re: site comment and a question It's actually really speedy for me and I also use DSL. I've see others voice this concern in the past, though.
Not sure regarding site sponsors, you may need to PM an admin. |

| Re: site comment and a question Take your speed on DSL and imagine mine on dial up I must really like it here to put up with the lack of speed lol
Its something you sort of get accustomed to, apparently there is nothing that can be done, this has been brought up a few times. |

| Re: site comment and a question Thanks for clearing this up for me. It's been loading slow for me also and I thought it was my computer but it loads fast for other forums so it left me a bit puzzled. |

| Re: site comment and a question Just a hunch, but there is another forum I participate in that uses exactly the same bulletin board software and it is MUCH faster.
The difference is, that forum has half the members, a forth of the threads and - once a thread reaches a few hundred posts - we close it and invite members to start a new thread with part 2.
Threads with 9,000 posts tend to bog things down and can make the search function go crazy. I don't know why. It's just an observation. |

| Re: site comment and a question Maybe the board software should add more memory storage for post, members and other things in the forum. |

| Re: site comment and a question I know. I'm not sure if this forum has this feature, but on on invisionfree forums the admin can request new features and ask support questions and things like that. |

| Re: site comment and a question LOL!! Are you saying that something should be done about the 9000 post thread? Is that why everything is so slow?
Though I dont really notice that much. It isnt really slow at all for me. Plus I am a "tabber", I have hmm lets see, 7 tabs open to this forum right now. |
