Can we add an "events" section. This would be where any upcoming event could be posted.

Right now, the calendar is all member birthdays. I'm not sure if members can add events to the calendar or if only moderators can. Maybe someone can check.

Also, I don't think anyone actually looks at the calendar, but I believe events listed on it appear on the home page of the forum.

We've talked about an events subforum, partly in response to your PM. It might happen if we can figure out a way to keep out the spam.

I just looked at the calender. It doesnt go past December of 2006

Looks like it needs to be updated.
