We'll probably never find out if the OP was wondering whether the site has Ameican origins (yes) or whether it's intended for exclusively Amercan participation (no.) I believe Bark has already left us.
There is very little on the Internet that's intended for the sole use of a particular national group.
The site is hosted in America That is as far as that goes. Many members visit our site from around the world as can be seen in this thread. I cannot say that we are an American site as people have dogs all over the world and come here for guidance and to talk about them. I am leaning towards an international dog forum hosted in the US as my final answer
