We do list pretty well for dog forums on most of the major search engines, but as Ron said, that is not why people stick around here at dogforums.com. We have a very knowledgeable group of moderators who try to help out members whenever possible. That beats any type of advertising that you can buy to promote a site. The word family does come to mind when thinking of our community here and you probably won't find that on some of the other forums. Just my 2 cents

I think for the most part is people love their dogs and love to talk about them all day and get good advise some of the other sites they dont stay on the subject and this site is well organized and the people are nice

I think you hit the nail on the head. Other forums are either highly breed specialized, there is always 1 or 2 posters who think they are smarter than everyone else, and they are overly regulated and moderated. I belong to one that if you breathe the wrong way or say the wrong thing, your post goes poof and you get the ruler across your knuckles, and God forbid you ask why or what happened to someone. The moderator acts like he is doing everyone a favor for allowing a couple of off topic threads. FOZ, you know what I mean...

I just recently went rummaging through a few others. Um...wow.. Other then my Cairn forum for basic things for the girls, I dont eveeeeeeer want to go anywhere else.

Because of its community/family feeling,there will always be debates/slight arguements but they will always be over come.(curbside will make sure of that lol)
Great people here,with a knowledge that comes in ever so useful.
