| Suggestion for Reputation Points People should be able to see who left points/comments for them...especially as some comments may be incorrect, or left simply because the person disagrees with what another posted. If one disagress with what someone posted, they should rebut that/reply in a post to the same thread...in that way they'll be able to share their knowledge with all who read the original post and leave it up to them to do some research to find out what is correct. They shouldn't put it in someone's reputation points.
To be able to leave a completely incorrect negative on someone's account, without that person being able to rebut it, isn't a good or fair thing. I don't know if others can see the comments left for someone's reputation, but if so, that may cause issues, as if it's visible to others, some comments can appear to smear another's reputation. |

| Re: Suggestion for Reputation Points If you go to the top of the page you'll find User CP on the left side of the page. If you go there you can see what posts received points and if any comments were made who made them and what they said.
Hope this helps. |

| Re: Suggestion for Reputation Points Thanks, Renoman...I did do that, but there's nothing I can see that tells me who left the comments. I see their comments, a date and a time, and that's all. Am I not looking in the right place? Reading the posts after my commented on post in the thread doesn't tell me anything either. |

| Re: Suggestion for Reputation Points Rep points really don't mean squat here. And no - unless they leave their name you will not be able to find out who left what. |

| Re: Suggestion for Reputation Points I think it's just part of the forum. Every message board I have been on that's hosted on the same site as DF has rep points.
-shrugs- You can just ignore them. |

| Re: Suggestion for Reputation Points My recommendation would be to just ignore them - especially if you find them annoying.
Nobody can read the comments but you. Your reputation here is the result of your overall posting history and demeanor on the board, not by what a couple people might think about a particular post. |

| Re: Suggestion for Reputation Points Well, I was under the impression that we could redeem our points for different items based on the number of points you had earned... like green stamps - do you remember them?
Apparently I was misinformed.... we get nothing but a warm fuzzie .... anyone want to buy a warm fuzzie??? |
