User name change

Oops! I guess I shouldn't have used my last name for my user name. Can I change it to remain semi-anonymous? How?

There isn't a way to change user names, but you could try messaging a mod and seeing if they will reset your account.

I believe only the admin can change usernames.

What do you suppose is the worst that could happen if we know your last name?

I advise against posting your email address because spambots can harvest your address and add you to some more spam lists.

But, unless you're posting when you're supposed to be working, and your boss is a dog-lover, I don't see where using your last name will make you a target of any evil schemes.

I was a little startled when I registered here and found that hardly anybody used even their first names.

Could'nt you just sign up again? I mean what if 2 people in the same house hold wanted to be a memeber? So just sign up as if you were some one else and dont log in as Annette Allsup?

I dont know if it is possible much of this computer stuff baffles me
