Pictures

Hey guys, I can't post pictures.

Now, I know that I know how, because I used to inundate you all with photos of my baby girl, Orchid.

I thought that maybe at first the one I am currently trying to post were too big, so I resized them.

I copied the Image Location and pasted it in the little "Image" box, and made sure that the tags were correctly in place and all of that jazz.

I went up to the far right hand corner where that the big and little "A" are, and clicked it.

When I did that, I could see my pictures just fine.

However, when I posted my pictures, all I could see were ugly, red links!

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm using Mozilla FireFox as a browser and our operating system is Ubuntu.

Now when you say "ugly red links", do you mean actual HTML links (like www.notarealwebaddress.com) or placeholders (a box with a red X in it, meaning there should be a graphic there)?

nope, they are links for sure.

You can check out my latest pictures in the Kitten thread in other pets. They just come out as links, and I'm doing every thing right.

I think I figured out what the problem is... it seems to be the part of the url from the question mark on.

So instead of having this in the image tags: http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g2...g?t=1190165358

Just put this: http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g2...m/DSCN0179.jpg

And it should turn out as this:

well how do i get my photos big? Since this is about photos. Mine are so small when they go on photo bucket. In other sites my photos are big.

Sometimes photo bucket will shrink your pictures because they're too big. Maybe you should try resizing it and it will work better?

Something must be wrong with something...I only see links, Lorina. i see a link where you posted the example of the ? and following numbers, and then where you posted what the example is supposed to look like I still see only a link...
