Puppy Selling....

We have been blessed with two border collie purebreds in the last 10 weeks and since they were 8 weeks old we have being trying our hardest to sell them...i dont think its because no body wants them ....just no body knows about the....
we have a add in a pocket trader and on the interenet:search4stuff.com
but, so far we have only had 1 call on them...and then when she realised she couldnt own a dog because of where she lived she called and told us she couldn't have one......does anyone have some tips/ideas to get these puppies selling

I have removed your email link. It is way too easy for spambots to harvest your email from a public forum. That's one reason a forum like this one offers private messaging.

If you have been reading dogforums at all since you registered, you know most of us discourage potential dog owners from buying puppies from backyard breeders. We also discourage people from breeding their dogs if they don't have owners lined up for all the pups ahead of time.

That being said, if anyone has constructive marketing ideas to offer, I would ask that they send you a private message.

I'd look into placing them with a border collie rescue group. You won't make money on the "sale" (adoption) of them, but they'll be properly vetted before placement and will definitely go to a good home.
