A few suggestions
How about a rescue and adoption board, and a pet memorial board also?

Having recently losing both my 15 year old shelties I would LOVE to see a pet memorial board.

I think a pet memorial board is a wonderful idea. Just something simple, where you can post a picture of the pet and some comments/remembrance.
