| Possible hip problem?
My older dog (we've had him 10 years and he was several years old when he adopted us) has started having trouble with his back legs just over the last few months. He doesn't whine or complain, even if you rub the back legs and the rear of his back.
It just looks like his back legs are on a seperate system from the rest of him. When he's going down steps, he drags them behing. Sometimes when he's running, they come around (like a cartoon character). I've hesitated taking him to the vet because he hates going soooooo much and he doesn't seem to have any pain. He's still running around with the other dogs and eating fine. It just seems that his problem is getting worse.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this and is it just a part of a dog getting to be OLD? |
