A Bailey shocker... ( new info re: stagger walk)

Today he had all his "fun" tests done, Cardio thing and Chest x-rays
After taking a look at his innerds the vets have concluded....

Nothing Other than the fact that there is NO way Bailey is approx 4 years old. They said they would be shocked if he was under.... get this... 9 and would not be suprised at all if he was more around the 12 mark.

His heart is slightly enlarged on the right side and he has some weird "leaf like veiny things" on that same side. They believe it may be calcium deposits of some kind ( or something like that.) his spine "bones"( sorry im not technical here) are not like blocks anymore they are rounded inwards at the bottom ( I hope you sorta understand what im saying lol) his lungs have "typical aging signs" and he has little white spots on his ribs ( the bottom) I dont remember what they told me they were... I was in SHOCK!
The results from the ECG will be in tomorrow.
So... in a nut shell, Bailey is not a really sick young guy, he's a rather healthy old guy.

Obviously someone lied about his age at some point. Or just plain forgot to add as the years went on.

I feel silly now though, If I think back and really take a good look at things, he was showing signs of being "old" (ie, hard time getting up on things, frequent power snoozing after mild excersise, and he apparently is NOT ignoring me... he cant hear so well anymore )

His excersise restrictions have been lifted ( thank goodness) so that means he can continue to do "some" things. He went for his probable first swim ever yesterday ( with the heat wave we are having I just couldnt not include him) and suprise suprise he was like a duck ( or a cocker), it was second nature to him and he really enjoyed himself.

Well thats all I have for now.

Wow, I would be a little shocked too. I'm glad you're finding some resolve, although I wish old age was fixable.

Well that doesn't sound bad at all for an old guy(Bailey).
