| Sadie Issues
Hi guys, it has been a while. We have been having some problems w/ Sadie's health.Last week my mom gave her some cranberry sauce and she had some stool problems. We thought it was just the cranberry sauce well now she is having some good stools (over a week later) but some really bloody looking slimey stools and some really green stools. We are taking her to the vet tomorrow, we called our vet a couple days ago and told us to monitor her for a couple of days and document her behavior. She is not behaving any differently, no fatigue, no signs of illness but her stools are so disturbing. We are getting her and Zeus on some form of flea control because the shelter didn't have her on any and we have been trying to figure out what is best (we never heard of any kind of flea control before getting online) but we are almost positive she brought fleas w/ her from the shelter. We had her tested about a month a go when we got her and she was worm negative, but since then we think this could be worms. The doctor says it could be that or possibly an intestinal infection. I just wanted to let you guys know what is going on and maybe get some advice. I know that the vet knows best etc, he is a great vet but he is very let dogs fix it if they can then intervene. He is the gentlest vet in the area (we only have three in a 30 mile radius) and the only one Sadie is not terrified of. |
