sick girl

don't know if anyone has gone through this or not but i have a female "pitmix" and she started throwing up sat. nite and i thought it would pass (she is not even two yet)she ate some grass and i just assumed its normal to help her settle her stomach.sunday was even worse..now she's not acting her normal happy self.she wont eat or drink.then she got diarea a little so monday i visited our local vet.he gave me some anti bia. anti vomit stuff and some stuff that looked like peptobismo.she can't keep this down either.so now she is across the bridge at a canadian vet. hospital.its seems shes not responding to the antibiotics there either.they are giving her a continus IV Fluids.i talked with doctor tuesday evening said she seemed to be a little more peppy then i called this morning and she had the runs again and threwup over nite.I'v had dogs all my life and i have never seen this before and what i dont understand is that my german sheppard and my cairen terr. are not ill.all three dogs are together when we walk and we are either at the marina or at home.the doctor from canada did do blood work and an xray.xray was neg.didn't see anything, blood work showed some kind of virus and said her pancreas and intestin are imflamed.i have walked and back tracked every step where i walk my dogs and found nothing she might of ate.last saturday she chased a stick in and out of the river she did get some goose dropings in her mouth but i made her spit it out other than that it was just a normal day. can somebody help???this is killing me....

Re: sick girl

Alright I am wondering if there is an obstruction. Have they done a ultrasound or x rays? Remember- x rays will not show a soft object ( like a sock) but it would show where the blockage is - if there is one..

Re: sick girl

Did they do a fecal test to see if there were any parasites invading her system?
