Throwing up all morning....?

Ok, well Chloe has an appointment this evening for 7:30 to see the vet but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas.
Ok so the morning started as usual, Chloe and Sadie had breakfast and we went for a short walk but Chloe was walking really slowly and her head and tail were down so I turned around and went back home (that was about 9:30 AM). At around 10:30 or 10:45 I went out in the back yard and played around with them but Chloe wasn't playing, she walked around with her head down and stayed away from me. I noticed she was throwing up so I watched her and looked at the throw up but it was only her food. She ate some grass a few minutes later and threw up four more times. When I let her inside, she emptied her water dish out completely. I filled it up again and she went and layed down on her bed. She hasn't touched her food since and hasn't really been interested in much of anything. I checked her temperature and it is not very abnormal at 102. She went to the bathroom normally this morning and has gone out to pee this afternoon as well but only once.
For anyone who doesn't know much about Chloe she is 4 and a half years old, spayed, 12 pounds. She is a maltese toy poodle cross and has never been sick in her life. To my knowledge she hasn't eaten anything wierd but I did work yesterday and she was alone for the normal seven hours. They get run of the living room and kitchen and the only things they have access to is the couch, lazy chair and their food and water.
To re-cap her symptoms are vomiting, very slight (hardly even mentionable) temperature rise, and she is very tired and lethargic.
Any ideas before we see the vet this evening?

Re: Throwing up all morning....?

I should add she DID eat her breakfast and threw it up in the back yard about an hour later. She hasn't eaten since. And Sadie is not allowed near her right now.....she is laying in my room and Sadie is on the couch looking sad cuz her buddy is in isolation.

Good idea to get her isolated, I'd add, no food for 24 hours then start her on a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice.
A trip to the vet is exactly what is needed.

Is there any chance she ate something she shouldn't have?

Re: Throwing up all morning....?

Sorry it took my so long to get back here. My computer crashed (dang technology!).
The vet said all is well and she just had a very upset tummy. I changed her food a few weeks back and I had introduced it quite slowly (I thought anyways). I did 3/4 of her old food and 1/4 of her new food for one week and then down to half and half for two weeks and then started to give her less and less of her old food until she was eating strictly the new stuff (by the way the new food is Nutro Max mini chunk dry dog food and the old food was Pedigree healthy vitality). She had been eating the new food for about two weeks now and I had noticed that her poops were a bit soft but nothing to be overly worried about so when she started to throw up I made an appointment. Aparently there have been three cases of parvo virus in my area in the last three months which was why I was so worried. It is also why my vet got me in that same day.
She is doing well now and I didn't have to change her diet. She threw up twice more before I got her to the vet but she is fine now. Thanks for all of your help though, I appreciate it and so does Chloe!
