Currently I have 4 cats (2 are strays) and 2 dogs. About 3 weeks or so ago, my Lab injured my elderly basset mix while "trying" to play with him. Luckily, it was just a bad sprain and not a broken leg. Not long after that one of my cats disappeared for an entire day and came back with one of his back legs injured. Again, it was just a sprain and not a break. The cat is a stray and isn't neutered yet, he's scheduled for that at the beginning of May. He had some health problems that have prevented it being done sooner and he is confined now to prevent him impregnating any female cats in the meantime. Anyway, yesterday my Lab injured his front paw by stepping on a piece of glass while out on one of our walks. Thank goodness, it didn't require stitches and he's on antibiotics to prevent infection. Now I'm starting to get paranoid. It seems like it's just one injury after another and the unexpected vet bills are killing me...LOL Plus, I'm paranoid my vet is going to think that I abuse my pets!! LOL Anyone else ever get a bad run of luck like this?
