Yeah, the problem with my 9 month old is that her teeth are compacted together, side-by-side, and they won't fall out. The vet suggested tooth extraction which will cost ~$200. Should I wait a lil longer and see if they fall out, or is it beyond nature's control and I should go for the surgery?

I would get a second opinion, but it may be the thing to do. One of my dogs vets told me that molly may need to have her teeth removed if they didn't fall out. Bradys all came out when he was older than what the vet suggested for Molly, so I waited and they all came out. There was no problem, they just took a little longer than the vet expected I guess. And she was only about 6 months old. Maybe different breeds have different time schedules, that's why I suggest asking another vet. Both of mine had lost all puppy teeth before 9 months.
