Is she developing SA?

Lexi gets sad when both me and my bf go out. When others remain home with her, they tell us how she'll go straight to bed or even stare up to our bed as if looking for us. Or she will lay down by the front door, which she only does when she needs to pee or poo. Today for example, we left for an errand and before we left, she was all hyper playing with a new toy, and when we came back my mom told me she was laying down by my bed and had gone there as soon as we left.

When she is let completely alone, we have heard her whining as we lock the door, but I feel like it probably doesn't last long because when we come home, nothing is broken, her toys are where they were when we left and she always comes from her room to greet us. I figure, she probably whines for a bit and then goes to sleep.

Poor thing, you guys think she might be developing SA?

No, i do not think it is anything you have to worry about. Those are just normal signs of missing you. If she starts to destroy property, hurt herself, try to escape, howls to no end, that is when you have SA on your hands.

Remember to keep it low key when you leave and do not greet her/get excited when you come home for at least 5-10 mins. This helps her understand that coming and leaving is NBD.

BTW, she's so cute, you should share pics of her!
