post parvo puppy feeding issues

We adopted a puppy on friday from the local animal shelter. They said he was 10 weeks old, and was already neutered, by the shelter. He appears to be a German Shepard/Lab mix. He would not really eat much on Friday and we chalked that up to stress, but by Sunday morning he began throwing up. Took him to the vet and found out that he had parvo and that it is possible he is only about 8 weeks old.

We did fluid bolluses Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and when we took him back to the vet on Tuesday the vet felt that he was looking better! It is now Thursday and we still can not get him to eat. He is drinking well, and looking better. We have been giving him puppy formula to get some kind of nutrients into him. We have tried nutro kibble and canned food, and we have tried the prescription canned food the vet said to use but have have no luck.

Any suggestions?

What has the vet said to do in this case? My puppy had parvo last year. The vet gave me some hi-res canned food and also some dry. I think you have to be very, very careful with what you feed them since their intestines need to heal. Your vet should be able to suggest something else that you can safely give him.
